How to service and repair the throttle body on 2006 Scion xB?

In order to service and repair throttle body, negative battery terminal must be disconnected to avoid Air Bag activation. Empty the engine coolant and take off the air cleaner unit. Disassemble different connectors and hoses and take out the throttle body. Installation requires hose connection, a new gasket and component securing. Lastly, reattach the battery, add coolant and check the leaks.
