How to remove and install the rear Tail Light assembly on the LH side on 2006 Scion xB?

The first step to remove the rear combination light assembly from the LH side is disconnecting the negative cable from the battery terminal for at least 90 seconds to avoid activating the Air Bag and seat belt pretensioners. Begin by uninstalling the rear combination light service cover LH before proceeding to disconnect the rear combination light assembly LH connector then eliminate its two nuts. Place the rear combination light assembly LH in position by attaching its 2 nuts and connecting the connector. After replacing the rear combination light service cover on the LH side complete the repair by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
