  A: The first step to service both the wiper motor and link requires disconnecting the negative battery cable then waiting 90 seconds to stop Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Push the wiper arm head caps forward to access the wiper component assembly which requires removing from both left and right sides during automatic stop movement of the wiper motor. The 8 clips and seal of the hood to cowl top need removal through the use of a clip remover tool. Detach the louver on both sides of the cowl top ventilator by first removing clips and bolts then cutting the 5 claws.
