Begin by removing the air cleaner assembly then disconnect the engine wire through the removal of its two clamps. Disconnect the sensor connector followed by removing the bolt and sensor from its position. The new sensor installation requires bolt attachment with a proper torque of 8.0 N.m that ensures 82 kgf.cm and 71 in.lbf. The engine wire clamps should be reconnected first along with placement of the air cleaner assembly and cable connection to the negative battery terminal. The procedure ends by doing initializations since some systems need this step after reconnecting or disconnecting from the negative battery terminal.
