  A: The first step to replace the throttle body involves breaking the cable connection to the negative battery terminal. The technician should remove Engine Under Cover sub-assembly No.1 (pre runner and 4WD type) while draining engine coolant. The intake air connector removal process begins with disconnecting the pressure sensor connector followed by wire harness clamp disengagement and vacuum hose and ventilation hose No.2 disconnection. After that, disconnect the second vacuum hose and loosen 2 hose clamp bolts before removing the 3 bolts on the intake air connector. The process begins by disconnecting water bypass hose before proceeding to disconnect water bypass hose No.2 and disconnecting the throttle motor connector.
