After removing the rear seat shoulder belt covers on both sides the procedure continues with taking out the rear seatback assembly together with the front door scuff plate LH, cup holder No.1, and quarter trim panel sub-assemblies (upper and lower LH). Start by detaching the three bolts and the belt from the rear seat outer belt assembly LH then complete the task by taking off the rear seat inner belt assembly LH by undoing its nut and belt. Removing the CRS anchor bracket requires taking off two nuts and the bracket. Secure the CRS anchor bracket with two nuts until they achieve a torque of 18.1 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf). The installation of the rear seat inner belt assembly LH with its belt and nut requires a torque of 42 Nm (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). Do not open the retractor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH while inspecting the angle at which the belt locks the ELR. Check that the belt emerges from the retractor when its inclination measures less than 15 degrees but it should remain locked when the angle surpasses 45 degrees.
