The rack and pinion power rack and pinion assembly removal requires draining the pressure tubes followed by unbolting the assembly and then removing return tube No.2 and the left and right turn pressure tubes with Special Service Tool: 09023-38201. Fix the power rack and pinion assembly with Special Service Tool: 09612-00012 before removing the left and right tie rod assemblies to check their torque levels properly.
