Install the new belt on a temporary basis following the provided illustration. The belt tension adjustment process requires using bolt B to achieve a 165 plus or minus 27 lbf tension for new belts used for less than 5 minutes on a running engine and a 88 plus or minus 22 lbf tension for used belts that operated for 5 minutes or more. Check that the drive belt reaches all sections of the ribbed grooves. During the final stage secure bolt C with 58 Nm (591 kgf.cm, 43 ft.lbf) and then finish up by tightening bolt A to 17.5 Nm (178 kgf.cm, 12 ft.lbf).
