What are the methods available to replace the front Crankshaft Seal on 2005 Toyota RAV4?

A technician has two available options to change the front crankshaft oil seal. For replacement of the timing chain cover on the cylinder head and block remove it first before using a screwdriver and hammer for oil seal removal. Install the new oil seal with Special Service Tool: 09309-37010 under hammer pressure until its surface reaches the timing chain cover edge and apply MP grease to the lip. Use Special Service Tools 09308-10010 and 09950-60010 (09951-00200) when keeping the timing chain cover to extract the oil seal before placing a new one using Special Service Tool 09309-37010 and a hammer until the seal reaches optimal fit with the timing chain cover edge.
