How to service and repair the Transmission Speed Sensor on 2005 Toyota Celica?

Start the Transmission Speed Sensor servicing and repair process by taking out the battery along with ECM and ECM case and then removing the ECM bracket. Detach the connector while unscrewing the bolt in order to extract the input turbine speed sensor which must have its O-ring taken out too. Apply ATF to a new O-ring before installing it onto the input turbine speed sensor and fasten it with the bolt tightened to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). After reconnecting the connector you must reinstall the ECM bracket by torquing the bolt to 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.) along with torquing the nut to 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.). After completing the procedure end with ECM and ECM case reinstallation then torquing both components to 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 inch lbs.) before returning the battery.
