Take out the steering tie rods on both sides plus their steering rack boot attachments without hurting the rubber parts. Take out the steering rack end sub-assembly employing Special Service Tool: 09922-10010 and handle the rack guide, power steering control valve, and top oil seal through the appropriate specialized tools. Review the power steering rack for wear and mechanical imbalance while measuring tie rod assembly tightening force. Install fresh oil seals and the steering rack at the correct positions as you apply proper lubrication and alignment procedures.
