How to replace the Speed Sensor Front LH on 2005 Scion xB?

One should begin the Speed Sensor Front LH replacement process by taking out both the battery and front wheel. First disconnect the speed sensor connector before removing the two clamp bolts that fasten the speed sensor wire harness to the body and shock absorber. Remove the speed sensor wire harness from the shock absorber after stripping away the resin clip and when removing the bolt for the speed sensor front LH, maintain the sensor tip free from foreign contaminants. Installation requires the speed sensor front LH to be secured with the bolt using 8.0 Nm torque (82 kgf-cm or 71 inch lbs.) and maintaining the sensor tip free of all foreign matter. Install the speed sensor wire harness by placing 2 bolts on the body and shock absorber and apply torque of 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) to Bolt A and 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.) to Bolt B without twisting the sensor wire. The procedure requires installation of the shock absorber speed sensor wire harness with the resin clip then installation of the speed sensor connector. The wheel assembly requires a torque of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.) for installation. After that install the battery and verify that the ABS speed sensor signal functions properly.
