How to replace the ignition coil assembly on 2005 Scion tC?

You should begin replacement of the ignition coil assembly by first removing the negative battery terminal. The next step is to detach Engine Cover Sub-Assembly No.1 while removing the ignition coil assembly through disconnecting 4 ignition coil connectors and removing 4 bolts securing 4 ignition coils with 1 bolt per coil. Phasing the new ignition coils requires 4 bolts to be torqued at 9.0 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf) while connecting the 4 ignition coil connectors. Reconnect the battery negative terminal using 5.4 N.m of torque (55 kgf.cm and 48 in.lbf). Then put on the engine cover sub-assembly No.1.
