How to replace the rear seat belt on 2004 Toyota Matrix?

The process to replace the rear seat belt starts with taking out the rear door scuff plates (RH and LH), rear door opening trims (RH and LH), tonneau cover assembly, deck board No.2, deck board sub-assembly, deck floor box rear, luggage compartment tray, back door Weather Strip, deck trim cover rear, rear seat cushion assembly, and rear seat back assembly. You need to uninstall both rear seat side garnishes along with both deck trim side panel assemblies. Use a wrapped screwdriver to remove the shoulder anchor cover from the rear seat three-point belt assembly outer. Following this detach the bolt and disassemble the unit where it meets the floor anchor and shoulder anchor points. The retainer bolt holding the rear belt assembly must be removed after you detach both the rear seat back board RH and the should belt cover. Releasing the bolt from the rear seat inner w/center belt assembly LH allows disconnecting the system. To install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly RH you must remove and reinstall its two bolts with the same bolts which require torques to 18.1 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13.3 ft.lbf). Secure the rear seat belt assembly outer center with two bolts reaching a torque value of 41.2 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf) then verify the belt lock functionality between 15 degrees and 45 degrees. If the lock condition is not reached, change the assembly. Fasten the belt quickly after system installation to ensure ELR activation then check the child restraint fastening mechanism. Pass the floor anchor and rear seat belt assembly inner through the bolt and tighten it to 41.2 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf); verify that the anchor remains off the protrusion section of the floor panel. Finish the installation anew for the rear seat inner w/center belt assembly LH by applying 41.2 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf) then add the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly outer while inspecting its tilt position and checking for appropriate locking mechanics and fastening mechanisms. The last step involves the installation of both rear seat cushion assembly and rear seat back assembly.
