The procedure to install the rear center seat outer belt assembly starts by performing an ELR check through gentle belt tilting and pulling; the belt should not lock at less than 15 degrees during all directions of tilt yet should lock upon 45 degrees or beyond. A replacement of the rear seat belt assembly outer center becomes necessary when it does not work according to specifications. Follow this by screwing the bolt into position of the rear seat belt assembly outer center with 41.2 Nm (420 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf) torque. The rear seat belt assembly outer center must be replaced if the installation check with the fastened belt shows it fails to lock quickly after pulling. The child restraint system belt fastening function can be verified when the belt extends fully to trigger automatic retraction; the belt should also extend and retract completely normally; any deviation from specified fastening functions requires replacement of the rear seat belt assembly outer center. Proceed with the installation of the rear seat cushion assembly followed by the rear seatback assembly and then the deck trim cover rear and subsequently the back door Weather Strip and the luggage compartment tray. Next, add the deck floor box rear and deck board sub-assembly and deck board No. 2. Complete the sequence by putting in the tonneau cover assembly along with rear door opening trim LH and RH. To finish the installation add rear door scuff plate LH and RH.

Ensure it does not lock within 15 degrees but does lock over 45 degrees; if not, replace the rear seat belt assembly outer center.

Take off the floor anchor cover, remove the bolt, and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly RH (floor anchor side).

Remove the front seat assembly RH and the front seat inner belt assembly RH by removing the nut.

Replace the rear seat belt assembly outer.

All necessary precautions and disposal procedures associated with the seat belt system should be adhered to.

Install it with two bolts, torquing to 41.2 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf), and check the ELR by gently tilting it and pulling the belt.

Install the deck trim cover rear, back door weatherstrip, luggage compartment tray, deck floor box rear, deck board sub-assembly, deck board No. 2, tonneau cover assembly, and finally the rear door opening trims and scuff plates on both sides.

Remove the shoulder anchor cover with a screwdriver (tape the screwdriver tip before use), then remove the bolt and disconnect the assembly at both the shoulder anchor and floor anchor sides.

Disconnect the pretensioner connector and the battery negative terminal, then check the SRS airbag system.

Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH, deck trim side panel assembly RH, rear seat side garnish LH, rear seat side garnish RH, rear seat cushion assembly, rear seatback assembly, deck trim cover rear, back door weatherstrip, luggage compartment tray, deck floor box rear, deck board sub-assembly, deck board No. 2, tonneau cover assembly, rear door opening trim LH, rear door opening trim RH, rear door scuff plate LH, and rear door scuff plate RH.
