The RH front seat inner belt assembly requires disconnecting its connector and unthreading its nut for removal. First detach the rear door scuff plate RH and the front door scuff plate RH followed by the removal of the front door opening trim Weather Strip RH and rear door opening trim Weather Strip RH as well as center pillar garnish lower RH. Start by taping the screwdriver tip before using it to eliminate the shoulder anchor cover and the floor anchor cover from the front seat outer belt assembly RH. Unplug the pretensioner connector whenever a 90-second delay has occurred since switching LOCK mode on the ignition and cutting off the battery power. Two bolts need removal from the front seat outer belt to proceed. Inspection of the tilt angle should start before locking the ELR to confirm the belt remains inside when the installation angle exceeds 45 degrees. Two bolts should attach the retractor side while the upper bolt requires a torque of 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 67 in.lbf) and the lower bolt demands 42.0 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). Security of shoulder and floor anchors requires bolts that should reach 42.0 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf) torque. End the evaluation of the ELR lock by verifying its ability to lock when you pull the belt rapidly.
