The installation of a new vane pump V belt requires users to loosen bolts A and B first and eliminate V-ribbed belt tension before removing the belt. The installation process of the vane pump V belt involves initially placing the V-ribbed belt onto both pulleys before applying it to the fan and generator V belt in the same order. The bar insertion between engine RH mount bracket and generator allows tension adjustment by moving it towards front direction always avoiding generator and oil control valve contact to prevent damage. First tighten bolt A to 19 Nm (189 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.) before moving to bolt B which should be tightened to 54 Nm (550 kgf-cm, 40 ft. lbs.). The adjusting bar enables tension adjustment of the vane pump V belt prior to tightening bolt B and then bolt A to 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 33 ft. lbs.).
