The work starts with removing instrument cluster finish panel garnish No.2 followed by instrument cluster finish panel garnish No.1. To access the front ash receptacle assembly and cigarette lighter cover start by dislodging their 2 respective claws. After removing the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly the process continues with turning the socket as indicated to detach the claw between the socket and cigarette lighter bezel stay and finally pulling out the socket. Move the socket against the notch located on the cigarette lighter bezel stay to pull out the cigarette lighter assembly. During installation align the socket with its corresponding slot in the cigarette lighter bezel stay and apply strong pressure to the cigarette lighter assembly to finish. Finish the task by reattaching both the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly.
