  A: The service of the cigarette lighter requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable and letting a minimum time of 90 seconds pass before proceeding to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. The servicio completo commences with the removal of No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish before doing No. 1. Remove the front ash receptacle assembly and the cigarette lighter cover by detaching the 2 claws. The procedure to remove the cigarette lighter assembly starts with unscrewing and removing the cigarette lighter knob and element. Then turn the socket and pull the assembly by disengaging the claw from the socket and cigarette lighter bezel stay.
