After taking out the clip you must separate the 2 pins and anti-rattle spring followed by removing the two pads together with four anti-squeal shims from the system. The installation procedure requires following the opposite order of removal steps but completing it by filling the brake reservoir with fluid before bleeding the system and performing leak tests.
