  A: First service and repairs on the power steering pump require removing the air cleaner assembly with its hose but disconnecting the MAF meter connector followed by hoses and clamp removal before removing the three bolts. The drive belt tensioner must be rotated counterclockwise first to loosen the drive belt tension before you remove it. Unclip two vacuum hoses before disconnecting the return hose by unclipping it. To disconnect the pressure feed tube start by removing its union bolt and gasket then proceed to remove the two bolts, nut, stud bolt as well as the PS vane pump assembly. Reinstall the drive belt by readjusting tension and reinstall the air cleaner assembly with its air cleaner hose and three bolts and secured clamp before reconnecting hoses and joining the MAF meter connector.
