Install the vane pump assembly: screw it by two bolts and 28 Nm nut. Install a new gasket on the pressure feed tube at 51 Nm union bolt. Install solenoid valve, oil pressure sensor and proceed to drop the oil reservoir, fan and other parts. Lastly, add and bleed power steering fluid, and watch leaks.

How to remove and replace the power steering pump on Toyota Sequoia?

Removing the air cleaner assembly, throttle body cover, and under cover is needed to change the power steering pump in the 2UZ-FE. Take out the fluid, drain V belt and unconnect hoses and connectors. Lastly, unscrew the pressure feed tube and take off the vane pump assembly.
