Service and repair of the brake booster begins with taking out the brake booster bracket and 2 stopper rings and gasket. Brake booster installation requires installation of a new gasket followed by attaching the brake booster bracket while installing the 2 stopper rings before securing the booster with new gasket and torqued to 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) using the 4 nuts. The required measurement should be 0 mm (0 inch). Adjust the length of the booster push rod with Special Service Tool: 09737-00020 until it makes gentle contact with the pinhead. Reinstall the master cylinder while filling the brake reservoir with fluid and performing brake system bleeding as the final step. Inspect for fluid leaks while also checking and adjusting the brake pedal before doing the operational check.
