Begin service on the brake caliper by catching spilled brake fluid in a container before using a wrench to detach its 2 installation bolts with a torque of 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft. lbs.). Afterward remove the caliper from the torque plate. Start by removing the 2 brake pads together with their installed 4 anti-squeal shims and 4 pad support plates. The installation process involves performing the reversal of brake fluid filling, brake system bleeding and leak inspection checks after the assembly work has finished.
