How to replace the Air Bag Sensor Assembly on 2002 Toyota Highlander?

The first action for replacing an Air Bag Sensor Assembly demands disconnecting the battery while taking needed precautions. You need to uninstall the instrument cluster finish panel assembly center as well as the floor carpet covers for both right and left sides with the instrument panel finish panel lower center and the air ducts rear No.1 and No.2. Start the Air bag sensor assembly center replacement process by unscrewing its clamp then disconnecting three connectors before removing the three bolts. Install the air bag sensor assembly center only after switching the ignition off and waiting 90 seconds with the battery negative terminal disconnected to begin work. Fasten the 3 bolts of the air bag sensor assembly center installation with a torque of 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf). The air bag sensor assembly center connector requires a proper connection while assuring both no play exists and the water-proof sheet remains in its position. Inspect SRS warning light as the last step of the process.
