To start the procedure disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body followed by air cleaner hose removal before removing the throttle body after disconnecting each of the throttle position sensor connector, throttle control motor connector, accelerator pedal position sensor connector, air hose, and the 2 water bypass hoses. Start by removing the throttle body while taking out its 2 bolts, 2 nuts along with the gasket. To install the throttle body realign a new gasket on the air intake chamber so its protruding part faces upward before you secure it with 2 bolts and 2 nuts best tightened to 18 N.m (180 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf).
