First cut the fuel pressure regulator loose by removing the engine wire holding bolt on the LH cylinder head cover then unplug the protective bracket from the RH cylinder head cover and raise the engine wire. First detach the two holding bolts and smoothly extract the pressure regulator before taking off its O-ring. When installing a new O-ring on the pressure regulator always use gasoline first and put the O-ring onto the regulator before securing it to the LH delivery pipe while making sure it rotates without resistance; if your O-ring causes installation issues you must remove it for repetition of previous steps.
