To start repairing and servicing the vacuum brake booster first remove the system's ABS actuator assembly then disconnect or remove the 2 brake lines through the use of special tool: 09751-36011. The first step requires disconnecting the vacuum hose from the brake booster before you remove the lower finish panel with the No. 1 safety pad insert. After completing these steps you should remove the pedal return spring, clip and clevis pin. The brake booster installation starts with removing four nuts and clevis before extracting the brake booster and its gasket from the assembly.
