  A: First service the Brake Master Cylinder by taking off the air cleaner cover followed by the air cleaner hose then removing fluid through a syringe until all painted surfaces free of brake fluid by washing them right away. After disconnecting the level warning switch connector the reservoir hose must be disconnected when VSC is present. Disconnect the brake lines using Special Service Tool 09023-00100: vehicles without VSC require removal of four brake lines from the master cylinder to the 2-way by torqueing to 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs) while vehicles with VSC will require removal of five brake lines from the master cylinder to the 3-way using the same tool and torque. The master cylinder removal begins with unscrewing 2 mounting nuts to extract the 2 or 3-way master cylinder with its gasket along with a torque setting of 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.). Install the brake booster by going through the removal process backward and measure the push rod before fitting it into place. Once the installation is complete you must add brake fluid to the reservoir then bleed the system before checking for leaks next to performing the necessary brake pedal adjustment.
