    Q:
How to remove the quarter trim Car Speakers on Toyota Yaris? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to remove the quarter trim speaker is disconnecting the battery cable from the terminal's negative side. The first step is to remove both the package tray trim panel assembly together with the deck board sub-assembly. The RH deck floor box needs removal and the LH side requires the procedure repeated on it. Both backseat leg covers' No. 1 and No. 2 have to be removed starting with the rear seat of the RH side followed by the LH side leg cover No. 2. Begin by taking out the rear seat assembly which affects both sides of the vehicle before moving on to separate the rear seat cushion cover pad sub-assembly together with the rear seatback assembly when using a fold-down seat type system. Begin the demolition process by taking off the front door scuff plate before dividing the front door opening trim Weather Strip followed by removal of the front quarter trim panel assembly. To finish the process disconnect the speaker connector drill out 3 rivet heads with a drill as the bit should be smaller than 4 mm (0.16 in.) then slowly pull out the rear speaker assembly from the quarter panel while maintaining drilling accuracy for protection. The drilling process ends with continued sharing extraction from the drill before vacuuming away rivet fragments and shavings found in the quarter panel. Wrench with Torx E10 socket must be used to detach the rear seat.
