Service of the front brake flexible hose demands brake fluid drainage followed by quick paint surface washing after fluid contact. Next, remove the front wheel. The front flexible hose requires removal by disconnecting its union bolt followed by removal of the gasket to detach the hose. You should disconnect the brake line by using a union nut wrench (10 mm) while using another wrench to maintain grip of the front flexible hose and keeping brake line alignment while avoiding both kinking and braking damage to prevent foreign material from entering the brake line through the clip or bracket. The front flexible hose can be separated from the absorber bracket by removing both the clip and the bolt. Connectors for the RH side and LH side hoses should be marked with position markers when disconnecting them at the same time.

Verification marks should be placed on both side rear brake flexible hoses before disconnecting them if you perform the operation at the same time. Start by unmounting the wheel from the rear and purge the brake fluid before cleaning all touched paint surfaces. A union nut wrench (10 mm) will disconnect both brake lines during drum type brake repairs while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench to proceed by removing the two clips followed by the rear flexible hose. Separate the rear flexible hose from the rear axle beam by removing its bolt for disc based brakes and detach the hose from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly by taking out its union bolt and gasket. To disconnect the brake line you need a 10 mm union nut wrench and should secure the rear flexible hose with a wrench as you remove the brake line. The last step includes removing both the clip and rear flexible hose. Protective measures should be taken to prevent damage to the brake line while avoiding the entry of foreign objects.

Drain the brake fluid before you remove the rear wheel to proceed with the brake flexible hose removal. Disconnect the rear flexible hose using the appropriate tool to remove its union bolt and gasket while maintaining separation of the hose. Use a 10 mm union nut wrench to disconnect brake lines with essential stability on the flexible rear hose using another wrench; maintain both components undamaged and stop foreign elements from accessing the brake line. To finish the process disconnect the clip followed by removing the bolt together with the rear flexible hose from the absorber bracket. Mark the exact positions of the RH side and LH side hoses whenever disconnecting them at the same time. The standard work methods function identically for the left-hand as well as right-hand operations.

Use the union bolt and a new gasket, torquing it to 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf).

Remove the rear wheel and drain the brake fluid, taking care to wash off any fluid that may leak onto painted surfaces.

Verify the part number.
