Hose, Flexible(For Rear Passenger Side)

A proper brake fluid drainage followed by rear wheel removal is necessary to access the rear brake flexible hose. The procedure begins by disconnecting the rear brake flexible hose through the steps of unbolting the union followed by removing the hose and its gasket. Free the rear brake flexible hose by taking out the bolt afterward. Use Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 to carefully extract the brake line under the condition of holding the brake flexible hose with a wrench while maintaining straight lines on the brake tube to avoid damaging the brake line and foreign matter contamination at the connection points. Finally, remove the clip.

Install the hose with a new clip, positioning the identification mark toward the exterior of the vehicle while minimizing twisting of the hose, and push the clip as far as it will go.

Using Special Service Tool: 09023-00101, hold the flexible hose with a wrench and apply a torque of 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf) with the tool, or 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf) without it.

Attach the front flexible hose and the speed sensor to the shock absorber using a bolt, applying a torque of 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14ft-lbf), while ensuring the bracket faces the exterior of the vehicle.

Apply a torque of 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.) using Special Service Tool: 09023-00101, or 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) without the tool.
