The installation of the 4WD front suspension member requires first installing the front lower suspension arm LH followed by the front lower suspension arm RH using the same approach. Apply Special Service Tool: 09670-00010 into reference holes of the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly while tightening bolts A to 113 Nm and B to 157 Nm and C to 52 Nm and nuts D to 52 Nm during multiple tensioning stages. The center engine mounting member sub-assembly requires fully tightening four bolts that include torquing bolt A to 60 Nm (612 kgf-cm, 44 ft-lbf) and bolt B to 81 Nm (826 kgf-cm, 60 ft-lbf). The front hook assembly requires two bolts to be torqued to 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf). After which install the front lower suspension arms LH and RH through this same procedure. The mechanic attaches the under covers LH and RH to the engine space before installing the No. 1 steering column hole cover sub-assembly and the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft assembly. After positioning the front wheels directly ahead, install the column hole cover silencer sheet before torquing front wheels to 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf). The suspension needs stabilization followed by full tightening of both front lower suspension arms LH and RH with this same method and concluding with an inspection of the front wheel alignment.

Begin by taking out the column hole cover silencer sheet before distinguishing the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft assembly from the No. 1 steering column hole cover sub-assembly.
