An Evaporative Emission Control Canister removal requires the prevention of fuel leaks and the negative battery terminal cable disconnect. Start by taking out the rear seat cushion framework while also disposing of the rear floor service hole covering. The operator should detach both the fuel pump tube sub-assembly and completely drain the fuel from its system. The next step involves taking out the exhaust pipe assembly center and disconnecting both parking brake cable assembly No.2 and No.3 from their points. You should start by removing the fuel tank assembly and advance to handling the charcoal canister assembly after disconnecting the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister while pushing the connector all the way inside and pinching portion A before extracting the connector. The procedure for charcoal canister filter sub-assembly removal includes disconnecting it from the charcoal canister by first disconnecting the vapor pressure sensor connector then disconnecting the wire harness clamp followed by the purge line hose separation from the charcoal canister. To complete removal it is necessary to take out the 2 bolts alongside the clip and charcoal canister.

Installing service or handling repairs on the Evaporative Emission Control Canister requires firstly taking off the fuel tank assembly and then the charcoal canister assembly. Use the canal to disengage the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister while deep-inserting then pinching portion A and removing the connector. After dealing with the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly disconnect it from the charcoal canister through the same procedure. The first step disconnects the vapor pressure sensor connector followed by the wire harness clamp and the purge line hose from the charcoal canister. Proceed by removing the two bolts together with the clip and separating the charcoal canister. Start installation by installing the charcoal canister while using the 2 bolts and clip which should be torqued to 39 N.m (398 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf). The fuel tank assembly installation requires connecting the purge line hose followed by the wire harness clamp along with the vapor pressure sensor connector and the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly before adding the fuel tank vent hose to the charcoal canister.

Disconnect the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister using the same method, then disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector, the wire harness clamp, and the purge line hose from the charcoal canister.

Separate the fuel pump tube sub-assembly and drain the fuel.

Proceed to install the exhaust pipe assembly center and connect the fuel pump tube sub-assembly.

Remove the exhaust pipe assembly center and disconnect parking brake cable assembly No.2 and No.3.

Connect the purge line hose, wire harness clamp, vapor pressure sensor connector, charcoal canister filter sub-assembly, and the fuel tank vent hose to the charcoal canister.

Disconnect the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister using the same method.

Use the same method as the fuel tank vent hose.

Check for exhaust gas leaks to ensure proper installation and functionality.

Install the fuel tank assembly and inspect for any exhaust gas leaks.

Followed by the wire harness clamp and the vapor pressure sensor connector.
