    Installation of the back door lock assembly with no Easy Closer requires application of MP grease to the sliding components and adhesive to the bolt threads by using Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324 or Three Bond 1324 or their equivalent. Secure the assembly with 3 bolts torqued to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) after which connect the connector and engage the clamp. Start with MP grease and adhesive application according to standard procedures for both installation types. The procedure for Easy Closer additionally requires an extra bolt and torque to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) to activate the clamp before connector attachment.
