Toyota Venza Control Arm Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to install the front lower Control Arm on Toyota Venza?
A: Start by uniting the front lower arm bushing stopper to the front lower suspension arm before holding it to the front frame assembly with three bolts and a temporary nut. Start from the front of the vehicle when installing bolts and torque them to the following specifications: Bolt 1 and 2 receive 200 Nm (2039 kgf-cm, 147 ft-lbf) while Bolt 3 requires 206 Nm (2100 kgf-cm, 152 ft-lbf). Mounting insulator LH needs temporary tightness on both 2GR-FE and 1AR-FE engines before installing front frames of either engine type. Mount the rear engine mounting insulator before securing both engine types with a full torque on the engine mounting insulator LH. Begin installation of the AWD steering link assembly after which install the front stabilizer bar together with the front stabilizer link assembly for AWD. The front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH and RH installation for AWD requires the same method to be applied to the RH side. You should install the engine assembly with transaxle for both 2GR-FE and 1AR-FE.
