The safety precautions for restraint systems should be followed when removing the LH side Air Bag so you can disconnect the negative battery terminal with its cable and wait 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag activation. Cautiously remove the 2 seat track covers by first taping the screwdriver tip and then using the screwdriver to complete the task. Start by unbolting the four mounting screws on the front seat while disconnecting all connectors and lifting the seat gently to prevent body injuries. Operate the screwdriver on headrest, slide knob and reclining knob while taping the tip. Start by unscrewing the seat cushion lower shield linked with its screws and disengage the lumbar switch connector. The procedure continues by unclipping wire harness clamps until you remove the front seat inner belt while also removing the lumbar switch and power
Seat Switch by unscrewing them first. To detach the armrest assembly first remove its cap and bolt while pulling off the spacer and lock plate. The seatback cover and pad removal process starts with seatback cover belt unfastening before one opens the fastener to remove the hog rings and headrest supports. The installation process must maintain an unbroken side Air Bag assembly structure that does not get caught during the process. Start your installation process with seatback cover and pad while afterward you will add headrest supports and hog rings. After placing the armrest assembly along with its spacer you should use a bolt to secure it while torquing the bolt to 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf) before capping the bolt. Placing the power switch and lumbar switch entails proper screw installation before adding the front seat inner belt which requires tightening to 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). Prepare the seat cushion shields by connecting their lumbar switch connector before screwing them into place. Place the slide knob along with reclining knob and headrest back into their proper positions. Install and adjust the front seat while connecting its wires before securing all bolts at 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf). After installing the seat track covers, return the negative battery terminal while examining both the SRS warning light.
