The starting point to remove the Air Injection Pump involves disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable. The procedure starts with removing the air pump assembly after displacing the washer jar while extracting its 2 bolts to free up space for air pump assembly dismantlement. First disconnect the air injection system No. 1 hose before removing the air pump connector along with its wire harness clamp. Start by disconnecting the battery cable and remove the 3 bolts to extract the air pump assembly with bracket along with the disconnecting of the air pump connector clamp. Discharge the air pump from the bracket by disengaging the three fittings of its insulator.
