Toyota Sequoia Coil Springs Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How do you install the rear coil spring on the left-hand side on Toyota Sequoia?
A: Install the rear coil spring on the left-hand side by first compressing it with Special Service Tool: 09727-30021. After fitting the coil spring to the No. 2 lower arm jack up the No. 2 lower arm so that the coil spring positioning mark matches the triangle on the vehicle body frame. Remove the Special Service Tool from the coil spring after checking for visibility of the ID mark through the drain hole of the No. 2 lower arm. The next procedure requires tightening the rear upper Control Arm assembly on the left-hand side before installing the rear Shock Absorber assembly on the left-hand side. The inspection of rear wheel alignment should be performed as the final step.
