Insert the sway bar kit in the correct position where the mark marks the rear right part of the vehicle and secure the bolts with nut tightening to 149 Nm (1,520 kgf-cm, 110 ft-lbf). Install the rear axle beam damper at its central position on the rear axle beam.

How to remove the front Sway Bar Kit on Toyota Prius?

The first step to remove the front sway bar kit demands direct alignment of front wheels. First detach the column hole cover silencer sheet before you disconnect both the steering sliding yoke sub-assembly and the No. 1 steering column hole cover sub-assembly. Start by extracting the front wheel along with the front sway bar link assembly LH by unfastening its two nuts while supporting the stud with a 6 mm hexagon wrench to prevent the ball joint from turning. Unfasten the front tie rod end sub-assemblies starting with No. 2 then moving on to No. 1. The floor panel brace front together with the front exhaust pipe assembly should be taken off following these steps. Remove the 2 bolts from front No. 1 sway bar bracket LH to disconnect it; repeat the process for the right-hand side bracket. Start the procedure by taking out the steering intermediate shaft and the No. 1 steering column hole cover sub-assembly followed by the steering gear assembly.
