Stabilizer Bar, Rear

The first step for rear sway bar kit replacement requires removal of the rear axle beam damper which is installed on the rear axle beam assembly. Start by removing the sway bar kit through procedure of taking out its 2 bolts and 2 nuts. You should position the mark on the new sway bar kit facing the right rear of the vehicle before torquing the bolts and nuts to 149 Nm (1,520 kgf-cm, 110 ft. lbs.). You should reconnect the rear axle beam damper at the middle point of the rear axle beam assembly.

Separate the tie rod end sub-assemblies LH and RH using Special Service Tool: 09628-00011, then remove the floor panel brace front and the exhaust pipe assembly front.

The rear stabilizer bar should be positioned so that the mark faces the vehicle's rear right.

Tighten the nuts to a torque of 149 Nm (1,520 kgf-cm, 110 ft. lbs.).

Remove the rear axle beam damper by detaching it from the rear axle beam.

Insert the front stabilizer bar from the right side of the vehicle.

The rear stabilizer bar should be positioned so that the mark faces the vehicle's rear right.
