How to install a Speed Sensor for skid control on Toyota Prius?

Installing the skid control sensor requires removing all sealant from its fitting surface through white gasoline treatment before mounting the sensor rotor in place. A new sensor should go onto the rear axle hub and bearing while the sensor connector points toward the lowest part of the assembly where the narrow aspect faces downward. The sensor installation process requires Special Service Tool: 09214-76011 together with a press to push the speed sensor until it is level with the rear axle hub and bearing while keeping in mind to avoid using a hammer and to verify that no iron chips or other foreign substances exist on the detecting surface of the sensor before straightly pressing it into position.
