How to remove the windshield Washer Pump assembly on Toyota Matrix?

The first step to remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly requires initial removal of the right-hand side front wheel and then the right front fender liner. A screwdriver allows users to rotate the pin 90 degrees to remove the pin hold clip while they detach 9 clips and 5 screws followed by taking out 3 grommets with the front fender liner; the grommets require replacement as they will break when removed. Washer fluid drainage begins with disconnecting the washer hose from both the windshield washer motor together with pump assembly. To finish the process disconnect the connector before clearing out the windshield washer motor and pump assembly from its location.
