The first step to remove the differential mount cushion starts with differential mount member removal. The next step requires the removal of the No. 6 exhaust pipe support bracket. The differential carrier assembly together with differential support should be removed by unscrewing the two rear mounting bolts and two bolts that secure the rear differential to the differential support with attention to the nuts' tabbed design for preventing rotation. Start by using the tools 09570-24011 09316-12010 to remove the rear No. 1 differential mount cushion but be sure the tools avoid the sub-frame and maintain proper bolt direction and equal torque on the 2 holes of the cushion.
