How to remove and install the A/C Switch in the Integration Control and Panel on Toyota FJ Cruiser?

You should disconnect the negative battery cable before starting to remove the Integration Control and Panel. Start by taking out the instrument panel garnish from the left-hand side then proceed with removal of the right-hand side garnish. To separate the integration control assembly from the panel you should detach first the three connectors after dislodging the four clips and unscrewing two fasteners. The procedure for installation involves connecting the 3 connectors as well as engaging the 4 clips before installing the integration control assembly by using the 2 screws. Reinstall instrument panel garnishes on the left and right sides where you can reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying 3.9 N.m torque (40 kgf.cm and 35 in.lbf).
