Set Special Service Tool 09737-00010 on the fresh gasket to determine appropriate push rod length by operating the pin so it brushes against the master cylinder piston. Use the tool upside down on the booster to measure the push rod clearance at the pin head while adjusting the rod to make a gentle contact with the pin. The next step includes mounting the master cylinder while you also connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster then you should add brake fluid to the reservoir before bleeding your brake system.
