How to replace the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center on Toyota 4Runner?

The first step for replacing the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center involves battery terminal disconnection and safety precautions. The first step includes removing the Console Upper Rear Panel Sub-Assy together with the Console Panel Sub-Assy Upper followed by Console Upper Panel Garnish No.1, Console Upper Panel Garnish No.2, Console Box Assy Rear, Console Box Mounting Bracket Front and Console Box Duct No.1. Proceed by detaching three connectors from the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center then remove its three securing bolts. The sensor replacement procedure requires turning the ignition switch to OFF position and maintaining the battery terminal disconnected for 90 seconds until beginning the operation. First tightly secure the Air Bag Sensor Assy Center with 3 bolts that will temporarily stay in place before torquing them to 17.5 N.m (178 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf).
