How to remove the intake manifold on Scion xD?

In order to depower the intake manifold of a 2ZR-FE engine, release the fuel pressure, unscrew the negative battery post, and pull the engine under covers. Drain coolant, take off No. 2 cylinder head cover, air cleaner cap and hoses. Lastly, intake manifold can be removed by disconnecting wire harness and removing bolts.
