How to remove the steering knuckle on Scion xB?

In order to take out the steering knuckle, remove an axle hub nut and a front wheel first. Next, loosen the front speed sensor, tie rod end, brake caliper and disc. Take out the lower suspension arm, axle assembly and ball joint. Lastly, loosen 4 bolts and the axle hub, not forgetting to have the orientation right.

How to install the steering knuckle on Scion xB?

Install dust cover on knuckle, then axle hub with 4 bolts torqued to 96 Nm; keep magnet rotor upward. Install lower ball joint, axle, arm; disc/caliper; tie-rod end and hub nut. Remove caliper/disc, inspect bearing looseness/runout; reinstall, add speed sensor. Fit wheel (103 Nm), check/adjust alignment, verify VSC signal.
