    A: Service of the Throttle Position Sensor requires disconnecting the battery cable from the negative terminal then let it rest for at least 90 seconds to avoid activating seat belt pretensioners and Air Bags. The first step requires removing the Throttle Body assembly where the throttle body must come out then the Throttle Position Sensor requires screw removal of its 2 screws. The installation process requires the insertion of the Throttle Position Sensor through its 2 screws following a torque requirement of 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 18 in.lbf). Afterward install the throttle body assembly then link the negative battery cable. After disconnecting and reattaching the negative battery terminal cable users must complete the initialization steps since specific systems request it.
